Alyssa Harris, MA BCBA
Clinical Director - Cookeville
Alyssa began her work with individuals with developmental disabilities in the summer of 2012 where she was a counselor at Camp Discovery. After her work at Camp Discovery, Alyssa began a Master’s Degree in Special Education at Tennessee Tech University with the end goal of becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). During her time at TTU, she worked as a graduate assistant to the Positive Behavior Support & Inclusion program. After Alyssa completed her Master’s in 2014, she enrolled with the Florida Institute of Technology to complete the required coursework to become a BCBA. During this time, she was employed by Community Living in Kentucky where she worked through the Michelle P. Waiver providing behavior support services to children and adults with developmental disabilities. Alyssa grew up in Tennessee and considers this area her home; she wanted to provide behavior services in the Upper Cumberland because she knew that these types of services are limited in this area. That is when she decided to begin work with Momentum Behavior Analysis, LLC. Alyssa was thrilled to join such a progressive company in the ABA field. Momentum strives to provide the newest and most innovative services to their families. Alyssa’s professional interests include: social skills, skill acquisition, and verbal behavior. During her free time, Alyssa enjoys riding her horse, spending time with her three dogs and husband, as well as traveling to the ocean.
Allison Milam, MS BCBA
Associate Clinician Director - Cookeville
Allison Milam, MS BCBA is one of our Board Certified Behavior Analysts. She has been employed by Momentum since July 2015. She has worked with individuals with special needs since middle school, where she was a counselor for a special needs summer camp. Allison realized at an early age that she wanted to work with individuals with disabilities, so she received a Bachelor’s in Special Education from TN Tech University in 2010. She was a special education/behavior teacher at Algood Elementary in Putnam County before accepting a position as Project Coordinator for the Positive Behavior Support & Inclusion program at TTU for the next 3 years. During this time, Allison completed her Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis & Autism through The Sage Colleges in 2014. She then continued to pursue her BCBA certification by working as a behavior specialist at Scarab Behavioral Health Services before completing her certification with Momentum Behavior Analysis, LLC. Allison is excited to work at this innovative company and can’t wait to see what the future holds for her and Momentum as they grow together. Her sister, Morgan, is diagnosed with autism, which has caused Allison to play an active role in the autism community for several years and gives her a unique perspective with the families she works for. Her professional interests include autism, post-secondary education for individuals with disabilities, and verbal behavior.
Abi Gearing, BS RBT
Abi graduated from Tennessee Tech in May 2017 with her Bachelor’s degree in special education with a concentration in moderate to severe disabilities. Upon graduating, she received her SPED teaching license as well. She is currently working towards her masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis at Tech with plans to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She has classroom experience in an elementary classroom, has worked as a job coach in vocational settings, and was heavily involved with a variety of clubs and programs supporting individuals with special needs in both high school and college. Abi discovered her passion for ABA when a number of kids that she worked closely with were showing progress towards new goals as a result of ABA services. In her spare time, Abi loves any and all sports, especially soccer, as well as hiking and camping.
Ashley Roberts, MA BCBA
Ashley graduated her Master’s degree at Tennessee Technological University in Applied Behavior Analysis in December 2017. She is in pursuit of becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Ashley began work with Momentum Behavior Analysis in September 2016. She loves working with children to help them reach their goals and is excited to provide behavioral services to families. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outside, hanging out with her friends and family, and catching up on some of her favorite shows.
Carmen Ramey, BS RBT
Carmen received her undergraduate degree in Sociology with a Social Work concentration from Tennessee Tech University in May 2017. She became a team member of MBA in September 2017. Carmen has a love for children and always knew she wanted to work or help them in some type of way. She became interested in ABA therapy when she met with Allison Crawford and Alyssa Harris in her first initial meeting with the company. Carmen is now a TTU graduate student, pursuing her master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction with an ABA concentration to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Her personality is very welcoming and she is always willing to help in any way she can. In her spare time, Carmen likes to spend time with family and friends, go to concerts, and travel.
Justin Roy, BS RBT
Justin is a Behavior Technician at the Cookeville location. He received his Bachelor’s in Human Services from the University of The Cumberlands. Justin has always shown a passion for helping others. He first found his love for working with children through time spent volunteering at his mother’s daycare center. Outside of work, Justin enjoys running and going to the gym. Justin is also a Sergeant in the Kentucky National Guard.
Taneal Burch, BS RBT
Taneal received her Bachelor’s degree from Tennessee Tech University in Psychology in May 2015. Taneal always knew she wanted to work with young children and then learned about ABA. Currently, she is enrolled in the Exceptional Learning PhD program with a concentration in ABA at Tennessee Tech University. She is working toward completing the requirements to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Taneal joined the Momentum Behavior Analysis team in July 2018 as a Behavior Technician in the Cookeville location. During her free time, Taneal enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs, riding horses, and kayaking.
Beverlee Ray, Administrative Assistant
Beverlee has been a receptionist in the medical field for 4 years. She is currently enrolled in Western Governors University where she is pursuing her Business Bachelors in Healthcare Management. She grew up in a family business, and administration has been a passion of hers for as long as she can remember. Once she joined the medical field, she found her calling and enjoys being able to help people. She is a Cookeville native. Being a mother is what inspires her to finish college while working full-time. In her spare time, she spends time with her son, knits, crochets and does school work.
Allison Crawford, MS BCBA
Owner and Executive Clinical Director - Crossville
Allison has worked in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis in the area of Intellectual Disabilities and Autism since 2006. She began her career in Alabama while obtaining her Master’s degree in Psychology at Jacksonville State University. She continued by becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst working with children and adults with a variety of diagnoses. Over the years, she has developed special interests in verbal behavior, especially in young children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Since moving to Tennessee, Allison has been involved in ABA across the state in a variety of capacities including serving on the Tennessee Association for Behavior Analysis Executive Committee and working on an Autism Insurance Reform Task Force. Allison moved to Crossville in 2011 and has been providing ABA services in the Upper Cumberland ever since. After noticing that the community needed more ABA service providers, Allison set out to start Momentum Behavior Analysis to better meet the needs of the community. Momentum became a reality when it opened its doors in June 2015.
Holly Easterly, MS RBT
Before beginning her education in ABA, Holly provided direct support services to adults with various developmental disabilities (Autism, Fragile X, Down Syndrome and Traumatic Brain injury) for a year and a half. While providing services to adults, she realized the importance of early intervention services. There were so many adults that she worked with that could have been taught valuable skills as children that would have helped them to be more independent and have a better quality of life. After gaining that experience, Holly obtained her Master’s of Science in Criminology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). She currently provides Applied Behavior Analysis interventions to children with Autism and other developmental disabilities as a Registered Behavior Technician. Holly looks forward to continuing to provide ABA services and raising awareness of these excellent interventions/procedures as she works towards becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Hayley Johnson, MA BCBA
Hayley received her Bachelor’s degree from Tennessee Tech University in Human Ecology with a concentration in Child Development and Family Relations in 2014. She was first introduced to ABA during an undergraduate parenting and child guidance course. She then enrolled in the Special Education Master’s program at Tennessee Tech in fall of 2014. Still in pursuit of becoming a BCBA she took additional coursework required to get her certification within her Master’s program. Hayley worked as a graduate assistant for the Positive Behavior Supports and Inclusion program at Tech for 1 year. She graduated in summer of 2016 with her Master’s in Special Education. Hayley enrolled in the Applied Behavior Analysis PhD program at Tennessee Tech in the fall of 2016. She is currently working on finishing up her experience hours to become a BCBA. Hayley started working for Momentum in September of 2016 as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Hayley has a younger sister who was diagnosed with autism at the age of 5. Her sister has been, and continues to be, a huge inspiration and motivation for her in pursuing a career in ABA. Hayley's professional goal is to use behavior analytic approaches to foster independence and help children and families live more cohesively.
Lisa Barker, BS RBT
Lisa graduated from Bryan College with a Bachelor's degree in Christian Ministry. She has experience working with young children as the director of a daycare. Lisa has worked as a Behavior Technician since July of 2012 providing direct ABA services both in the home and school settings. She loves helping and encouraging the children in her community to achieve their goals through positive reinforcement. In Lisa's spare time, she enjoys pursuing her hobby of photography. Whether it is photographing nature, animals, or families, she puts her creative talents in motion to produce beautiful memories that last forever for all to see.
Rebecca Garrett, BS RBT
Rebecca graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor's degree in Multidisciplinary Studies. She has three years of experience working with young children as an elementary teacher. Rebecca has recently joined Momentum Behavior Analysis as a Registered Behavior Technician. She is so excited to learn new things and to be working with children to reach their goals. Rebecca enjoys spending time with her husband, re-purposing old furniture, and going to Disney World every chance she gets.
